After a monthlong hiatus that saw an all-encompassing renovation, the Elliott Bay Café re-opened in late November, and has been drawing praise and enthusiastic patrons from near and far. Tamara Murphy of Seattle's esteemed Brasa (www.brasa.com) has overseen a glowing re-do of the café space and now does the same with the Elliott Bay Café menu - keeping it in line with the range of offerings for a bookstore café, but doing so with distinction, flair, taste, and absolute commitment to quality. Sandwiches, soups, salads, specials, baked and other sweets, coffee, tea, wine and beer are all here for your culinary pleasure. Breakfast, lunch, light early dinners, and whatever falls in between, seven days a week.
