• If you're requesting to pick up your order in the store, please await an order confirmation email from our staff to insure book availability. Orders submitted outside of our normal hours of operation will be processed by our staff on our next business day.

• Due to a recent increase in credit card online fraud, for your security when placing orders, the billing address you enter for your account needs to match that of the billing address associated with your credit card in order for your credit card payment to authorize. Typing out street names instead of using abbreviations may help generate a match: for instance, type SECOND, AVENUE and STREET instead of 2ND, AVE or ST. If you experience difficulty or need assistance, please call the store at 1-800-962-5311.

• To redeem your paper Elliott Bay Book Company Gift Certificate or Credit Slip online, please enter your document number in the order comments field. For shipped orders, you will also need to enter a credit card number for payment, but we will only charge your remaining unpaid balance (if any) to your charge card.

• Shipping quotes for store orders are estimated and will be adjusted to actual cost before you are charged. If you wish to ship something outside of the US/Canada with a foreign billing address, note that in the comments field and mark your order "Pickup at store" and "Pay for at store." We will adjust your order for the appropriate amount of shipping and contact you to secure payment and your shipping information.   

• If you'd like complimentary giftwrap on your purchase, please note that in the comments field when placing your order.

• If you are requesting an autographed book from one of our events or require any other special handling, please make a comment notation. We will make every effort to fulfill your request.

• Titles noted as "Special Order" are not in stock at the store or any of our distributors. These titles may also not be currently available from the publisher. We will attempt to order them for you and notify you of your order status.

• Please be sure to actually submit your order to us for processing! If your receive any "error" message, your order was not submitted successfully. Orders left "In Checkout" on your account have not been submitted.
