Lipstadt, Dorot Professor of Modern Jewish and Holocaust Studies at Emory University, historical consultant to the U.S. Holocaust Museum, and 2005 winner of the Al Chernin Award given by the Jewish Council for Public Affairs to the person who best exemplifies protection of the First Amendment. The author of History on Trial, Denying the Holocaust, and Beyond Belief, her most recent book is The Eichmann Trial (Schocken/Nextbook).
