Andrew Sean Greer with A.J. Rathbun
A welcome Elliott Bay return is made this evening by San Francisco novelist Andrew Sean Greer, who has read here a number of times in the decade and more since he’s been published. He is here with a delightful, around-the-world spin, his newest, Less (Lee Boudreaux/Little, Brown).
"Marvelously, unexpectedly, endearingly funny. A love story focused on the erroneous belief that the second half of life will pale in comparison to the first. Guess what? It won't!"—Gary Shteyngart.
"The most deftly funny romantic comedy I've read in years. If you have a sentimental bone in your body (I have 206), the ending will make you sob little tears of joy." — Nell Zink.
Andrew Sean Greer’s other books include The Confessions of Max Tivoli, The Story of a Marriage, and The Impossible Lives of Greta Wells.
Joining him onstage tonight will be Seattle-based food writer A.J. Rathbun, author of Ginger Bliss and Violet Fizz, Good Spirits (winner of an IACP Cookbook award), Dark Spirits, Wine Cocktails, Luscious Liqueurs, and more.
