ATLAS OBSCURA at Seattle Underground

Back in our old Pioneer Square neighborhood, Seattle Underground hosts a launch of both the Seattle Obscura Society and of the publication of Atlas Obscura: an Explorer’s Guide to the World’s Hidden Wonders (Workman), written by Joshua Foer, Ella Mortan and Dylan Thuras. Atlas Obscura founder  Dylan Thuras will be on hand to speak about some of the locations featured in the book (including Gustave Eiffel’s secret apartment atop his famous tower) and attendees will have access to some of the (usually off limits) tunnels in Seattle’s underground. The evening’s festivities include live swing and an open bar. If you haven’t been back to Pioneer Square for a while, this is the night to return. Tickets ($90 admits one, OR $150 admits two) include a copy of Atlas Obscura  and access to the party talk.  Seattle Underground is located at 614 1st Avenue.
