KATHY SHORR and FRIENDS with A PANEL ON GUN VIOLENCE IN THE US at Town Hall

Co-presented with TOWN HALL CIVICS.

New York City documentary photographer Kathy Shorr visits this evening with her book, Shot: 101 Survivors of Gun Violence in America (Powerhouse). Shot depicts survivors ages eight to 80, all races, and many ethnicities, in their own words, and in photographs. Most in the book were photographed where they were shot. She’ll be joined here for a panel discussion with local survivors and others working on the issue: Courtney Weaver, blues singer and survivor of gun violence; Liz Hjelmseth, host of the podcast The Hamster Wheel and survivor of gun violence; Alexis Star Caldwell, mom, fashion designer, and survivor of gun violence; Ralph Fascitelli of Washington Ceasefire; and Colleen McIngalls of Victim Support Services.

$5 tickets are available at the door or in advance via www.townhallseattle.org (1.888.377.4510).
