KEI LUM CHAN & DIORA FONG CHAN at Lionhead
We’ve long been fans of our neighbor Jerry Traunfeld’s Lionhead Sichuan restaurant on Broadway and we’re excited to finally co-produce a dinner and cookbook talk with him. Kei Lum Chan and Diora Fong Chan, authors of China: The Cookbook (Phaidon) will be on hand to speak about the cookbook and Lionhead’s chefs will prepare a meal based on recipes from the book. "With an extensive knowledge of all eight major regional Chinese cuisines, Kei Lum Chan and Diora Fong Chan are bestselling authors, regarded as top culinary authorities within China. Kei Lum Chan is the son of Mr. Mong Yan Chan, a Chinese journalist and critic, who authored Food Classics, a series that has had a huge influence on Chinese culinary culture." Advance tickets ($110 - for one person, $170 - for two people) are required and include dinner with Kei Lum Chan and Diora Fong Chan and a copy of China: The Cookbook. Please click here to purchase tickets, and for more information about the event and Lionhead (famous for handmade buckwheat noodles and other delicious Sichuan dishes) or visit LionheadSeattle.com. Lionhead is located at 618 Broadway E.
