LUVVIE AJAYI with LINDY WEST at Seattle Public Central Library

Co-presented with THE SEATTLE PUBLIC LIBRARY. Nigerian American author Luvvie Ajayi, the comedic voice behind the blog Awesomely Luvvie and founder of The Red Pump Project (for HIV/AIDS awareness), makes a Seattle stop for her debut book, I’m Judging You: The Do-Better Manual (Holt), a hilarious and insightful book of political commentary, pop culture obsession and digital age cultural etiquette. "This truth-riot of a book gives us everything from hilarious lectures on the bad behavior all around us to razor sharp essays on media and culture. With I’m Judging You, Luvvie brilliantly puts the world on notice that she is not here for your foolishness or mine."-- Shonda Rhimes. Luvvie Ajayi appears in conversation with Seattle writer Lindy West, who is a columnist at The Guardian, a contributor to This American Life and author of Shrill: Notes from a Loud Woman. Free admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Seattle Public Central Library is at 1000 Fourth Avenue (between Madison & Spring). For more information, please see or call 206.386.4636.
