Michael Eric Dyson
This year’s A. Scott Bullitt Lecture in U.S. History is being given by Dr. Eric Michael Dyson, noteworthy author of many books, a professor of sociology at Georgetown University, and a contributing writer/editor to The New York Times, The New Republic, and ESPN’s ‘The Undefeated’ website. His most recent book, published at the beginning of the year, has been one of the year’s most vital, Tears We Cannot Stop: A Sermon to White America (St. Martin’s Press).
