SAM LIGON & SHERRIE FLICK
Two writers and teachers known for their short fiction travel to Seattle to read together tonight. Sam Ligon, who teaches at Eastern Washington University's Inland Northwest Center for Writers and is artistic director of CENTRUM the Port Townsend writers’ conference, reads from Wonderland (Lost Horse Press) and also from his second novel, Among the Dead and Dreaming (Leapfrog Press). Traveling from Pennsylvania is Sherrie Flick, author of the short story collection, Whiskey, Etc. (Queen’s Ferry Press). Sherrie Flick is also known for her food writing, which has appeared in Ploughshares, among other places. She teaches in the Clapham University MFA and Food Studies Programs.
