THOMAS MOORE at Seattle First Baptist Church

Co-presented with HORIZON HOUSE and SEATTLE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH. An evening talk on the subject of “Aging as Soul” brings esteemed psychology and philosophy writer Thomas Moore back to Seattle. A writer we’ve been attentive to and helped present as far back  as his early books, Care of the Soul and A Blue Fire (a collection of James Hillman’s writing he edited), Thomas Moore has continued to work the ground of psychology, religion, and philosophy with other books such as The Re-enchantment of Everyday Life, Soul Mates, The Soul of Sex, and Writing in the Sand. Newly published is The Book of Matthew: A New Translation (Skylight Paths). Admission is free. Seattle First Baptist is at 1111 Harvard Avenue (at Union).

As part of this Seattle visit, Thomas Moore will also present a workshop/lecture, Care of the Soul in the 21st Century, sponsored by the C.G. Jung Society Seattle on Sunday, October 23. See www.jungseattle.net for information.
