A freelance photographer (since the 1970s) whose work is frequently featured in National Geographic, Bill Curstinger is here from his Yarmouth, Maine base to show and tell about his work as presented in his recent book, Extreme Nature: Images from the World's Edge (White Star). This striking book focuses on marine creatures, including seldom-photographed underwater creatures. Adventures visual and verbal, with settings such as icebergs and volcanoes, and such beings as seals, sea turtles, narwhals, whales, sharks, and more, are all part of this engaging volume.
