Seattle poet, prose writer, and traveler extraordinaire Sibyl James makes this welcome Elliott Bay return tonight to read from her newest book, China Beats (Egress Studio). China Beats is a poetic exploration of the China she has found and known from a longstanding interest and considerable travel, as her prose books In China with Harpo and Karl, The Adventures of Stout Mama, and Ho Chi Minh's Motorbike attest.
