Seattle Reads. The Seattle Public Library's pioneering program continues, this year featuring DINAW MENGESTU's remarkable novel, The Beautiful Things That Heaven Bears. He is scheduled for a number of Seattle appearances May 7 - 10. Meanwhile, various panels, film series, presentations, and Book-It Repertory Theatre productions abound, occurring in April and May.
