Schulz, former executive director of Amnesty International USA, will explore the origins of the deteriorating reputation of the U.S. in the world since 2001, and possible remedies in this public talk, entitled "Restoring America's Good Name Abroad." Dr. Schulz, an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister, is the author of In Our Own Best Interests: How Defending Human Rights Benefits Us All (Beacon) and Tainted Legacy: 9-11 and the Ruins of Human Rights (Nation Books).
