First diagnosed with breast cancer in 1999, poet Susan Deborah King credits the writing of poetry as key to her recovery. Her poetry collection, One-Breasted Woman (Holy Cow), bears witness to this process, as well as her connection to other cancer survivors, and with the natural world.
