DAVID LYNCH
Tuesday, January 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall Seattle, 1119 Eighth Avenue
--THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT!--

We are delighted to present this evening with internationally renowned filmmaker David Lynch. His film projects, produced over a period of more than thirty years, have included such distinct, unique narrative works as Eraserhead, The Elephant Man, Wild at Heart, Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet, and Mulholland Drive. He has been nominated for an Oscar three times. He is here tonight with his most personal production yet, a book entitled Catching the Big Fish: Meditation, Consciousness, and Creativity (Tarcher). This book covers almost the same period David Lynch has been making films, as he traces his thirty-year-plus engagement with and practice of Transcendental Meditation. He also shows how integrally they are a part of how he makes decisions, particularly artistic ones, and poses them such here that others will have much to take to their own lives and works. This should be most insightful. $5 tickets are available at Elliott Bay starting December 30 (Limit 10 per person). Town Hall Seattle is located at 1119 Eighth Avenue (at Seneca). For more information on this evening, please call Elliott Bay at (206) 624-6600.
