ART SPIEGELMAN Monday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Benaroya Hall, 200 University Street
Presented by SEATTLE ARTS & LECTURES. Art Spiegelman, who probably did more than any other single person to help popularize and put graphic novels and nonfiction narratives into the cultural mainstream, holds forth as part of the Literary Lecture Series. His The Complete Maus (Pantheon), first published as Maus and Maus II, was a harrowing memoir of the Holocaust and its effects on his family. It received the Pulitzer Prize.
