Marjorie Manwaring, a highly regarded local poet and associate editor of the online poetry/art journal, Disquieting Muses Quarterly Review (www.dmqreview.com), has read her work at Richard Hugo House, on KUOW, and at Elliott Bay, among other places. She reads here today from her debut collection, Magic Word (Pudding House), which was, among other things, a finalist for the Floating Bridge Chapbook Award. Some of these poems have appeared in The Seattle Review, Swivel, and as part of the Seattle/King County Metro Poetry on Buses program.
