Co-presented with THE SEATTLE PUBLIC LIBRARY. Pacific News Service journalist Andrew Lam, author of Perfume Dreams: Reflections on the Vietnamese Diaspora (Heyday), discusses his writings and experiences as a Vietnamese American as part of The Seattle Public Library's month-long Asian Pacific American Heritage Month programming. Segments of My Journey Home, a PBS documentary featuring Lam, will also be screened. He is a frequent contributor on National Public Radio's "All Things Considered," and has essays have appeared in newspapers across the country. Admission is free and open to the public (no tickets). The Seattle Public Central Library is at 1000 Fourth Avenue (between Madison and Spring). Parking in the Central Library garage will be available for a $5 special event rate.
