JAMES FALLOWS
Wednesday, September 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall Seattle, 1119 8th Avenue

Presented with the TOWN HALL CENTER FOR CIVIC LIFE. Much of Atlantic Monthly correspondent James Fallows' 2002 article predicting the perils of an Iraq invasion, including its adverse affects on the larger "war on terror," has now come to pass. He returns to Seattle to discuss Blind into Baghdad: America's War in Iraq (Vintage), a newly released collection of several Atlantic Monthly pieces. "The Iraq imbroglio has produced some amazing and, for war supporters, painful essays...Blind into Baghdad...shows that most of what happened in postwar Iraq was predicted by government analysts...their reports suppressed or ignored by people making the decisions." - David Brooks, The New York Times. Admission is $5 at the door (no advance tickets). Preferred seating for Town Hall members. Town Hall Seattle is located at 1119 Eighth Avenue (entrance on Seneca). For more information on this evening, please see www.townhallseattle.org or call (206) 652-4255.
