ERIC LANLARD a.k.a. CAKE BOY - Late Breaking Addition!

Master pâtissier Eric Lanlard, twice the winner of the Continental Pâtissier of the Year at the British Baking Awards, is the host of the series Baking Mad and Glamor Puds on British television and he is the proprietor of his own award winning London shop, Cake Boy. Today the celebrated chef, who has baked for Elton John and Madonna (and was recently seen offering Royal Wedding Cake commentary on the Wedding Channel and Lifetime), visits us for an informal early evening meet and greet in our cookbook section. He'll answer your dessert related questions and offer some samples from his new recipe book, Cake Boy (Mitchell Beazley/Octopus). These recipes were developed for home cooks and include recipes for his classics like Genoise Sponge, lemon macaroons and Sticky Toffee Pudding, holiday treats such as eggnog trifle and chocolate caramel "Millionaire" shortbread, and a nice variety of tarts and cakes.
