Presented by the WASHINGTON CENTER FOR THE BOOK AT THE SEATTLE PUBLIC LIBRARY. Morocco-born writer Laila Lalami's much-praised debut novel, Secret Son (Algonquin) is this year's Seattle Reads selection for the Seattle Public Library and the Washington Center for the Book. Today marks the first of four days of appearances, including her Monday, May 10 Seattle Arts & Lectures appearance—readings, conversations, and signings—with this program. Free admission.
