Following a poetry reading in which Gardner McFall reads, Seattle Opera General Director Speight Jenkins leads this conversation exploring aspects of the world premiere of Amelia, which Gardner McFall wrote the libretto (University of Washington Press) for—and in which Speight Jenkins has an informative, insightful foreword. Amelia's world premiere is set for Saturday, May 8 at McCaw, with seven other performances set in a run scheduled to go through May 22. $5 admission (no tickets) for this always-engaging program, handled at the door by Seattle Opera.
