WRITE YOUR HEART OUT, SEATTLE Workshop at Seattle Public Central Library

Presented by THE SEATTLE TIMES and THE POYNTER INSTITUTE. A Seattle "edition" of the Poynter Institute's well-regarded daylong writing workshops is set for this day as Poynter senior scholar Roy Peter Clark (Writing Tools) and Jacqui Banaszynski, Knight Chair professor at the Missouri School of Journalism are joined by a bevy of award-winning area writers—Ken Armstrong, Jim Lynch, Nancy Rawles, and Jess Walter. This workshop is intended to foster better writing, whether that is a novel, journalism, a family history, school projects, or 'emails at work.' Tickets ($195, including lunch) and more information are available via www.poynter.org or calling 1-888-769-7937 or (727) 853-4300. The Seattle Public Library is at 1000 Fourth Avenue (between Madison & Spring).
