Historian and archivist Stephen Roby, one of the world's most respected experts on the life and music of Jimi Hendrix, speaks this evening about Hendrix on Hendrix: Interviews and Encounters with Jimi Hendrix (Chicago Review Press), his collection of Hendrix interviews previously published in mainstream music publications, African American, and counterculture publications, and in the European press. Stephen Roby is also the author of Black Gold: The Lost Archives of Jimi Hendrix and Becoming Jimi Hendrix; editor and publisher of Straight Ahead: The International Jimi Hendrix Fanzine; and editor of the Hendrix family's authorized fanzine, Experience Hendrix.
