Presented by Seattle Spiritual Synthesis. UCC Pastor Don Mackenzie, Bet Alef Meditative Synagogue leader and Rabbi Ted Falcon and Muslim Sufi Minister Sheikh Jamal Raman of Interfaith Community Church, aka the "Interfaith Amigos," present a special talk today on How Women Have Been Marginalized by the Abrahamic Traditions: Differences Between Core Teachings and Actual Practice." This will be the first time the Interfaith Amigos are focusing on the role of women, although all of us have touched on the subject before. They will share some of the awkward and difficult aspects of our traditions, and how we can evaluate those aspects using the central teachings of our faiths.
