Presented by SEATTLE OPERA. Off an active and highly successful summer with Seattle Opera's staging of Wagner's Ring cycle, it's already time for the 2009-10 season. Seattle Opera General Director and Education Director Perry Lorenzo discuss cultural, historical, and social aspects of Giuseppe Verdi's classic La Traviata and its times. These are always engaging evenings. La Traviata is scheduled for nine performances, October 17 - 31, at McCaw Hall. $5 admission for this evening's program, handled at the door by Seattle Opera.
