ANNIE PROULX at Benaroya Hall

Presented by SEATTLE ARTS & LECTURES. Seattle Arts & Lectures' 2009-10 Literary Lecture Series, as good as ever (and larger now), kicks off this evening with renowned fiction writer Annie Proulx. It has been many a year since she has been in Seattle—this is a rare and most welcome visit. Recipient of the Pulitzer Prize, National Book Award, the Irish Times International Fiction Prize, two O. Henry Prizes, and a PEN/Faulkner Award, among other honors, Annie Proulx is the author of eight books of fiction, including her most recent, Fine Just the Way It Is: Wyoming Stories 3 (Scribner).
