10/08/2009 7:00 pm

Yes, it's true. The legendary, raucous, rowdy performance gang, Sister Spit, lands in Seattle with a vanload of queertastic, female-centric brilliance! Don't miss this multimedia literary explosion of zinesters, fashion plates, novelists, performance artists, poets and fancy scribblers. This year's lineup includes Sister Spit co-founder MICHELLE TEA, who latest coverage of Beth Ditto's Fashion Week adventures recently appeared in The Believer. Michelle Tea is the author of several books, including The Rose of No Man's Land (MacAdam/Cage). Joining her tonight are memoirist BETH LISICK, author of Helping Me Help Myself (HarperCollins); novelist RHIANNON ARGO, author of The Creamsicle (Spinsters Ink); and by graphic novelist/L Word screenwriter ARIEL SCHLAG, author of Likewise and Awkward and Definition (Touchstone). Also on the program are BEN McCOY, KIRYA TRABER, and SARA SEINBERG. Admission, handled at the door (no tickets) by Sister Spit, is $10, all proceeds supporting the ongoing Sister Spit tour (see www.sisterspit.com for more information).
