Co-presented by ROGUE SCHOLAR, RICHARD HUGO HOUSE, SPLAB, JACK STRAW PRODUCTIONS. Inspired by the works of John Cage, tonight's event is as much a performance as a reading. Twenty-two writers are given two minutes each to explore the theme of "Silence and Communication," presenting together in dynamic, round-robin fashion. Featuring familiar voices from the Pacific Northwest, as well as a host of locally-based presses and literary journals "Silence & Communication" is also a celebration of our vibrant literary community. PageBoy, Hoarse, Pilot Books, Wave Books, and Dark Coast Press are some that will be on hand. $5 admission. Sole Repair is at 1001 E. Pike.
