CODY WALKER & FRIENDS
A stellar group of Seattle writers join us tonight to read from their work as part of an event organized to celebrate a brief return visit to Seattle by poet Cody Walker, whose second book, The Self-Styled No-Child (Waywiser Press) was published earlier this year. Cody Walker, now based in Ann Arbor, served as Seattle’s Poet Populist, as a Writer-in-Residence at Hugo House and Seattle Art Museum and as a Jack Straw Fellow. Those expected to read with him tonight are Rebecca Hoogs, author of Self-Storage (Stephen F Austin University Press); Rachel Kessler, founding member of the Typing Explosion and The Vis-a-Vis Society; Julie Larios, whose work has twice appeared in The Best American Poetry, Sierra Nelson, author of Take Back the Sponge Cake (Rose Metal Press), and Jason Whitmarsh, author of Tomorrow’s Living Room (Utah State University Press).
(This book cannot be returned.)
