Seattle native and devoted apple lover Erin James’ newly released book, Tasting Cider: The CIDERCRAFT Guide to the Distinctive Flavors of North American Cider (Storey) celebrates the historic beverage with tasting notes, producer profiles and food and cocktail recipes. The book comes to life just in time for the holidays at Elliott Bay Book’s neighbor, Capitol Cider, where from 6:30-8 p.m., guests can join James and the Capitol Cider team for book-inspired cider flights, a featured cocktail and pairing recommendations, plus a discounted book and four-bottle cider package to take home for the holidays – or to gift to the cider lover in your life.

Presented with CAPITOL CIDER. They feature the largest independent cider bar in the U.S., a bottle shop and a restaurant that has a 100% gluten free menu.
