Francesca Bell, Keetje Kuipers, Martha Silano & Tiffany Midge

This evening we’ll welcome four Pacific Northwest poets, each reading from a new collection. Poet and translator Francesca Bell, events coordinator for the Marin Poetry Center and the former poetry editor of River Styx, reads from her debut collection Bright Stain (Red Hen Press).  

Keetje Kuipers, currently teaching at Hugo House and serving as Senior Editor at Poetry Northwest, reads from All Its Charms (BOA).  

Martha Silano, recipient of a 2017 Yaddo Martha Walsh Pulver Residency, will celebrate the publication of Gravity Assist (Saturnalia Books), her fifth poetry collection.  

Tiffany Midge is the author of The Woman Who Married a Bear (University of New Mexico Press), winner of  the Kenyon Review’s Earthworks Prize for Indigenous Poetry and a Western Heritage Award and her memoir Bury My Heart at Chuck E. Cheese’s is forthcoming from University of Nebraska Press.
