Frederick L. Brown
We’ll help celebrate the paperback release of The City is More Than Human: an Animal History of Seattle (University of Washington Press) tonight by inviting Frederick L. Brown back to Elliott Bay, this time to speak on the animal history of our own Capitol Hill neighborhood. If you’re a follower of the Capitol Hill Historical Society’s Facebook page and blog, you may already know the location of the stables located near us in the pre-Auto Row days of Pike Pine, but there’s much more to find out. Or perhaps you have a story to tell? Frederick L. Brown will share stories and slides and he will be joined by Tom Heuser from the Capitol Hill Historical Society for a discussion and Q&A. Co-presented with THE CAPITOL HILL HISTORICAL SOCIETY.
