As much as he and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have been involved with helping respond to the global crisis with COVID-19, Bill Gates has also, along the way been working on what has become a more enduring, encompassing crisis - the state of the planet we inhabit. He makes this special Seattle Arts & Lectures virtual appearance to discuss what he is seeing in his new book, How to Avoid a Climate Disaster: The Solutions We Have and the Breakthroughs We Need (Knopf).

Mr. Gates will be in conversation with Anderson Cooper.
