Saturday University SOUND TRAVELS: PERFORMING ARTS OF ASIA Fall Lecture Series.

This morning the Saturday University morning fall series on performing arts of Asia continues with Hari Krishnan, Associate Professor of Dance at Wesleyan University, who will give an interactive lecture-performance presentation on “Movement and Metaphor in South Indian Court Dance.” He is to be joined by musicians Vaaraki Wijayaraj and Kajan Pararasasegaram from the inDANCE company.

Presented by the GARDNER CENTER FOR ASIAN ART AND IDEAS, in partnership with the UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON JACKSON SCHOOL OF INTERNATIONAL STUDIES, SEATTLE UNIVERSITY and ELLIOTT BAY BOOK COMPANY.
