Saturday University with Xiaoze Xie

This morning the Saturday University morning’s winter series on ‘What is Precious?’ continues with Xiaoze Xie, artist and professor of art at Stanford. He will be discussing his recent solo exhibition at the Asia Society Museum in New York, his subject here being ‘Out of the Dark: Banned Books in China.’ He has also been artist in residence at the Dunhuang Foundation in China.

Presented by the GARDNER CENTER FOR ASIAN ART AND IDEAS, in partnership with the UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON JACKSON SCHOOL OF INTERNATIONAL STUDIES, the DUNHUANG FOUNDATION, and ELLIOTT BAY BOOK COMPANY.
