Tera Hatfield, Jenny Kempson & Natalie Ross

Seattleness: a Cultural Atlas (Sasquatch) is an exploration of Seattle and the Puget Sound Region through maps, diagrams, visualizations and illustration. Inspired by Mercator, who in 1595 produced the first atlas, this extraordinarily creative volume invites us to take a fresh look at the city we think we know: its bridges, terra-cotta figures, machinery, totems and more. Joining us this evening are designer, geographer and public artist Jenny Kempson, design director and writer Tera Hatfield and landscape architect and geographer Natalie Ross.
